Do you enjoy taking everyday items and making new creations out of them? Then PVC pipe should be your product of choice.

There are an endless array of possibilities for PVC pipe projects. For a crafty DIY’er, PVC pipe is inexpensive and easy to work with.

If you aren’t sure how you can use PVC pipe to help simplify or decorate your life, we’re here for you. I’m going to share some of the internet’s best ideas for repurposing PVC pipe.

Here are a few ideas to get you started:

1. The PVC Bed

You can purchase the pattern to build this doll’s bed out of PVC if you feel you need it. If not, you could use the picture as your inspiration.

If you have a young child who needs a new bed, and you’re short on cash, this is a great option. It looks great and should be an affordable option.

2. DIY Boot Dryer

It stinks having wet feet, both figuratively and literally. The next time your work boots get wet, don’t leave them to sour.

Instead, use this PVC idea to build a stand which holds your boots. It’s a series of tubes which can hold a blow dryer and blow warm air into your boots to dry them.

3. PVC Fence

There’s no tutorial to help you along with this idea, but if you’re someone who can look at something and create it, this is a wonderful fence.

Who needs to spend a fortune building a fence? Instead, put PVC to work to have a gorgeous, clean-cut, and cost-efficient fencing option.

4. Hose Holder

My mom and I were talking recently about how she has a hard time keeping her scrunchy hose clean and wrapped up.

This would be an easy solution to this problem. Stick a piece of PVC in the ground, wrap the hose around it, and hold the nozzle at the top.

5. Huge PVC Laundry Sorter

We remodeled our bathroom over the winter. I combined my laundry room in the bathroom because it makes my life easier. In the process, I added a laundry sorter.

Those things are awesome! If you have room for a big laundry sorter, save yourself some money, and build it out of PVC.

6. PVC Table

If you need a workspace or a place to dine, building your own table is a cost-effective solution to this problem.

You can save even more money by creating a table out of PVC pipe and wood. This appears to be an easy project for those who are new to building their own furniture.

7. PVC Phone Holder

We’re in the time where streaming is in, and we watch as many shows on our phones as we do our televisions.

Don’t bother holding your phone while watching your favorite shows anymore. Use PVC to create this unique holder to make your streaming experience hands-free.

8. PVC Towel Rack

If you’re fortunate enough to have a pool in your backyard, you must have a way to keep the pool toys and towels organized.

Don’t purchase anything fancy. Instead, build a towel rack from PVC pipe. It’ll organize your pool toys and give the wet towels a place to dry.

9. DIY Backyard Movie Screen

Summer nights are fun! You can swim, catch lightning bugs, and thanks to this fun idea you can now watch movies outdoors.

All it takes is some cloth and a few pieces of PVC pipe to build a stand. This will allow for time to relax and make fun memories.

10. The Kid Wash

Do you have kids who struggle to beat the heat during the summer? You don’t have a pool, but they love to play outdoors anyway?

You can construct this awesome kid wash out of PVC pipe. It allows the kids to run through it or ride their bikes through it to get a cool mist when the heat is too much.

11. PVC Fort

Does your child have a larger bedroom or a playroom? Would they enjoy having an indoor playhouse?

You don’t have to spend a fortune on the expensive prefab options. Instead, you can construct these PVC pipe projects and customize it to whatever theme your kids love.

12. PVC Pipe Water Shooter

If you have little kids, you know how they love to squirt water at each other. It’s a fun pastime during the brutal heat of the summer.

You don’t have to buy the cheap guns from the local five and dime anymore. You can make them an excellent long-range water shooter from PVC.

13. DIY Platform Swing

Are you looking for a multi-purpose swing which will be light on your wallet? This platform swing is everything you need.

It’s lightweight making it safe for kids, is constructed from PVC pipe which makes it light on your budget, and it’s easy to build.

14. PVC Succulent Planters

Succulents have become all the rage as of late. If you love the look they can provide for your home; you should definitely invest in a succulent display.

But what should you plant them in? You can make easy PVC planters which look modern but are cost-effective.

15.  DIY Cabana

Would you like to have a beautiful place to rest outdoors after a long day or when you have guests over? You can create your own space easily and affordably.

PVC pipe is used to build the frame for this area. Add sheer curtains to the sides for privacy and blocking the sunlight to have an excellent space for resting.

16. PVC Light Poles

I’m in love with this idea. If you’d like to add an outdoor light to your home, this could be an affordable way of doing it.

There’s no tutorial, but you could create a base, add a PVC pipe as the stand, and get a fancy solar light to brighten up the darkness on a budget.

17. PVC Pipe Book Storage

As a homeschooling parent, I keep a ton of books around our home. They can become overwhelming at times.

This is where proper storage comes into play. If you have a place to store all the books, they’re a blessing instead of a burden. Create a book storage area out of PVC pipe.

18. PVC Tote Storage Organizer

I keep plenty of decorations and excess clothing in totes. The totes can become too much if left unproperly organized.

If you depend on totes to store your items when they aren’t in use, create this unique tote organizer as PVC pipe projects.

19. PVC Stand Alone Gate

Whether you’re the parent of small children or you have pets you want to keep in a specific area, this is a great gate option.

You construct it from PVC pipe and mesh wire. The gate stands on its own and appears to do a great job at blocking stairwells to keep everyone safe in your home.

20. PVC Lemonade Stand

Lemonade Stand PVC pipe projects

When I was a kid, I grew up in a small subdivision, and it was quite common to see kids out on the sidewalks on the weekends selling lemonade.

If your kids are fortunate enough to grow up in an area where they can still sell lemonade on a hot afternoon, give them a stylish set-up with this PVC lemonade stand.

21. Wooden PVC Pipes

I’ve shared quite a few ideas with you on PVC pipe projects to make awesome creations which will add some fun to your life or help things run a little bit smoother.

If you found a project you liked but would like to give it a little different look, follow the steps in this tutorial to make your PVC pipe projects look like wood.

22. DIY Laundry Bin

Clothes hampers are a necessary item for a household to run smoothly and stay organized. Yet, they’re expensive to buy.

Don’t waste your money. Instead, create this spiffy-looking hamper from cloth and PVC pipe to make practical PVC pipe projects.

23. DIY Garden Tool Storage

Storing garden tools can be quite the pain. It’s easy to junk up your garden shed without proper storage techniques.

Keep your garden shed organized with PVC pipe projects. Cut the pipe into smaller pieces and place them on the wall. It’ll hold your tools in place with ease.

24. PVC Chicken Feeder

Did you recently get a few chickens? Need an inexpensive but effective way of feeding them? PVC pipe can help.

Line up a couple of pieces of thick PVC pipe and attach them to the side of your coop wall. Fill the feeder at the top, and the chickens will eat from the bottom.

25. PVC Pipe Projects – Tomato Cage

Tomatoes can be large and in charge, if given enough room. If you’re growing quite a few tomato plants, a basic wire tomato cage may not do the trick.

Instead, use PVC pipe to build a monster cage around your tomatoes. It’ll be able to handle them no matter how big they get.

26. DIY Bike Rack

a Bike rack for PVC pipe projects

Do you live in or near a city? If you do, you most likely ride your bike to a variety of places. If you have a large family, that means quite a few bikes.

Instead of tossing them down in the yard or by the curb, use these PVC pipe projects to build this awesome bike rack. It’ll keep your equipment stored neatly until you’re ready to ride them again.

27. PVC Dog Cot

Do you have dogs which you love dearly, but you wish they’d keep their fluffy tails off your sofa? I totally understand!

If you want to keep your pooch off your furniture, create their own lounging location. You can use PVC and make them a comfortable cot they’ll love.

I would suggest adding a floor protector to the legs to prevent any damage to the floor, but this is an easy and useful project to start with.

By now, you should be looking at PVC in a totally different light. It’s an amazing material which can be used to make numerous creations you’ll love.

Pick out the PVC pipe projects you need most and try your hand at it. If you love it as much in person as you did in the picture, keep going down the list and use PVC pipe projects to expand your horizons.
