What’s the most repetitive statement you hear in a day?
If you’re a parent, the chances are it’s, “I’m hungry!”
Yes, my kids say the same thing. I’ll no sooner get done cleaning up the dishes from our last meal, and they’ll run into the kitchen saying, “Mom, can I have a little snack? I’m hungry!”
Because I know the cycle of feeding kids throughout the day is pretty much endless, I like to keep an array of recipes on hand.
I prefer either quick, kid-friendly snacks I can throw together or snacks I can make ahead of time and hand them off to the kids when they start proclaiming their hunger.
If you’d like to have some easy go-to snacks for kids, you’re in luck. I’m going to share a wide variety of snacks your kids will love, and you’ll enjoy how easy they are.
Here are easy and fast kid-friendly snacks for your family:
1. Banana and Nutella Sushi
You may not want to use the term sushi when serving this snack up to your kids, but you get the idea of what the recipe is about.
You’ll wrap a banana in tortillas which has Nutella spread out on the inside. This mimics sushi, but it’s a tasty little snack you can whip up in no time.
2. Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Sticks
This snack is right up my children’s alley. They love bread, cheese, and all things pizza. If you have kids who love pizza too, give this snack a try.
It begins by spreading out a tube of pizza dough. Cut it into breadstick size slices. Put pepperoni and cheese on each slice and fold the breadstick up. Bake and your kids will have a snack they’ll love.
3. Frozen Greek Yogurt Drops
This snack is a great one to make ahead of time and store for when the kids start claiming they’re hungry. You can open the container and let them enjoy.
You must pipe the yogurt onto parchment paper. Add sprinkles too, if your child likes them. Allow the yogurt drops time to freeze, and you’re done.
4. Apple Slice Cookies
These are one of my favorite snack options for both myself and our kids. The trickiest part is slicing the apples into rings.
Once you conquer this step, spread peanut butter on the apple and add toppings. You can add chocolate chips, coconut, nuts, or anything else which sounds good to you.
5. Cucumber Sandwiches
Our pediatrician has encouraged us to cut back on giving our kids carbohydrates, but my kids love bread.
If you’re trying to cut back on the carbs in your child’s diet, consider using these neat cucumber sandwiches as a healthy way to let them enjoy small ‘sandwiches‘ as a snack.
6. Grape Poppers
What a fun way to offer healthy foods to your kids as a snack, and they would enjoy it because it looks delicious.
These grapes are served on a stick, dipped in candy coating, and served with sprinkles. It’s both fun and tasty.
7. Peanut Butter Strawberry Banana Snack
If your kids love graham crackers, they’ll love this snack. It’s easy to make too. Meaning, you can throw it together in no time.
Smear peanut butter on a graham cracker, use bananas for the eyes and wings, and strawberries for the nose and mouth. Ta-da! You have a cute snack ready to eat.
8. Peanut Butter Energy Bites
Energy bites are a great snack to make ahead of time and store in your fridge. When the kids come through starving, open the container, and let them dive in.
Plus, the bites are easy to make. They contain oats, peanut butter, honey, vanilla, and chocolate chips. Roll it all together, and you have a great snack.
9. Butterfly Frozen Yogurt Snacks
These frozen treats are one sure to catch your child’s attention. It has a base of yogurt. The bottom has different fruits and nuts pressed into it to make the shape of a butterfly.
The whole concoction is frozen and served to your kids as a healthy and refreshing treat. It looks pretty too.
10. Frozen Yogurt Blueberries
If you grow your own blueberries, there’s a good chance you have plenty left over. You may even have enough to freeze.
You should consider making frozen yogurt blueberries. Dip the berries in yogurt and freeze them for a quick and delicious snack.
11. Fruity Pebble Muffins
Do you love Fruity Pebbles breakfast cereal? I was more of a fan of Cocoa Pebbles, but my kids sure love the fruity variety.
This recipe shows you how to incorporate some kids’ favorite cereal into an easy breakfast muffin. This makes a great snack or a quick breakfast on the go.
12. Fruity Pebbles Parfait
While we’re talking Fruity Pebbles, I figured we’d explore this parfait option. It’s easy to put together in advance and a great snack your kids can grab themselves.
Place yogurt in a cup, add a layer of banana slices, and a layer of Fruity Pebbles. Continue this until the cup is full and finish with Fruity Pebbles as the top layer.
13. Bread Cheese Bites
Bread cheese bites is a different way of serving up a grilled cheese, but I like the idea. You make a grilled cheese and dip into cornstarch when frying.
When finished, cut the sandwich into smaller cubes to make it where they can be easily dipped into a sauce.
14. Baked Carrot Fries
This may not be a recipe for every kid. My children are far too picky to ever even try a delicious snack like this because they’d see carrots and run.
But if your kids aren’t picky, try making these scrumptious carrot fries. They’re oven baked and easy to throw together.
15. Quick and Easy Teddy Bear Toast
As a homeschooler, I love to incorporate food into our lessons because the kids get excited and what I’m teaching sticks in their memories because of the fun experience.

If your kids love yogurt, and they love graham crackers you should try this easy snack you can make ahead and eat on the go.
Dip the graham crackers in yogurt, freeze them, and grab one as you and the kids are running out the door.
18. Mini Fruit Pizzas
If I’m going to eat a non-traditional pizza, fruit pizza would probably be my favorite. It looks bright, cheerful, and healthy.
You can make these mini fruit pizzas in a flash. They’re created on wholewheat tortillas, topped with Greek yogurt, and finished with fruit.
19. Caramel Apple Nachos
If your kids love apples, they’ll love these caramel apple nachos. It all begins with sliced apples placed on a plate, similar to tortillas chips would be placed with typical nachos.
From there, marshmallows, caramel, and a variety of other toppings are added to them to create a delicious snack they’ll ask for again and again.
20. No-Bake Sheep Grahams
If you have picky eaters on your hands, it can sometimes help to make snacks which look cute or festive. These will pique their interest.
This snack has a graham cracker base, white icing, and is topped with marshmallows, a cookie, and candy eyes.
21. 2-Ingredient Snack Pop
These yogurt freezer pops are easy to make and require only two ingredients. If you can mix strawberries into yogurt, you have freezer pops.
Place them in the popsicle molds and freeze until they’re hard. From there, your kids can grab them as they wish.
22. Chocolate Covered Bananas
Bananas are an inexpensive and healthy snack. If you can dress them up to make them more appetizing, why wouldn’t you?
You can, thanks to this idea! Place the bananas on a stick, dip them in chocolate, choose another topping such as sprinkles, and freeze.
23. Pear Fruit Donuts
Donuts aren’t the healthiest snack option nor are they quick to make. That is until someone created this idea.
The pears are the donut shape when sliced into a circle. They’re topped with yogurt, fresh fruit, and sprinkles.

I’ve made this recipe for my husband for years. It’s one of his favorite snacks, and I don’t mind making them because they’re easy.
25. Fruit Pizza Crackers
As much as I love fruit pizzas, I had to share this other option for a quick fruit pizza because your kids might love them too.
You create a fruit pizza on top of a crispbread, but you could also use graham crackers too. Top it with cream cheese and fruit for a finished product.
26. One Minute S’mores Dip
If your children are a fan of S’mores, they’ll most likely enjoy this quick and easy dip for a snack. You mix chocolate chips and marshmallows in a bowl.
Place them in the microwave for one minute and use graham crackers to dip into it to complete the snack.
27. English Muffin Mini Pizza
Do your kids love pizza? Why not give them a healthy and quick pizza option for a simple snack the next time they yell, “I’m hungry!”
You can do this by using an English muffin as the base of the pizza. Add some marinara sauce, cheese, and any other toppings.

Instead of typical deviled eggs, the boiled eggs are filled with an avocado filling. It is a great way to get additional healthy fats and nutrients.

Who doesn’t love banana pudding? My tastes are pretty basic when it comes to dessert, but I love homemade banana pudding.

Kids love cheerios. I teach a children’s class once a week, and when snack time rolls around, they all want Cheerios.
This snack takes it a step further by including peanut butter, almonds, chocolate, and marshmallows. Most kids will adore this snack.

Many people don’t see the point in making homemade snacks. Why not purchase the prepackaged snacks at the store?
My main reason is my grocery budget is too limited to afford the prices for prepackaged items. If your kids love yogurt in a tube, but you can’t afford it, reach for this alternative.

Fruit snacks for kids are adored by all. I loved them when I was little, and now the next generation loves them too.
Whether you don’t feel comfortable with the ingredients in store-bought fruit snacks, or you can’t afford prepackaged snacks, this could be the recipe for you.
