By Emilie Bradford

Rough night last night? Hey, it happens to the best of us! Waking up hungover isn’t the nicest feeling but the best thing you can do to help your recovery is to fill your stomach and maybe put some nutrients back into your body!

Below we’ve got a huge list of food that will satisfy your hangover-cravings. Comfort food, healthy food, or just food to fill your stomach, whatever you need to have a speedy recovery! Bon appetit!

Hangover Food Recipes to Help You Recover

1. Dill Pickle Bacon Grilled Cheese

What’s better when you’re hungover than the gooey and familiar taste of a grilled cheese sandwich. Add some crispy bacon and some crunchy dill pickles to really amp the flavor.

2. Breakfast Ramen

It has been decreed that Breakfast Ramen is the best hangover food. It’s basically like an omelet on ramen noodles and it will definitely help you forget how you’re feeling.

3. The Leftover Hungover Sandwich

This is exactly what I’m craving when I wake up hungover. Just go into your fridge, grab that leftover coleslaw, some pieces of ham, and the best part… warm crunchy fries!

4. Strawberry Nutella Roll-Ups

How delicious do these soft, warm, sweet, and oh-so-easy to eat Strawberry Nutella Roll-Ups look? Amazing! Just crawl into the kitchen and they take only moments to whip up.

5. Healthy Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich

Only 8 minutes until you’re chopping down on a breakfast sandwich that will help you refill some much-needed nutrients. Potassium from bananas, peanut butter for sodium, and whole wheat bread for cysteine.

6. Chipotle Chilaquiles

Ummm… Nachos for breakfast? Yes, please! Although, you could eat these Chipotle Chilaquiles basically any time of the day. A lot of the time breakfast gets slept through…

7. Baked Onion Rings

How about some Baked Onion Rings? The delicious flavor and the crunchy breadcrumb texture makes the little extra time these take to make definitely worth it!

8. The Ultimate Hangover Burger

Oh my goodness! This looks absolutely mouthwatering! A good burger to absorb that excessive amount of alcohol in your system is (in my opinion) the best cure.

9. Biscuits and Gravy Casserole

Super easy, quick, and yummy! Fill your empty stomach with some warm biscuits and hearty gravy. The perfect brunch when you need to feed a whole group of hungover people.

10. Breakfast Pizza

I love pizza for breakfast. Sometimes I purposely save a few slices from the night before just because I know I will enjoy it so much in the morning! So when I found this pizza recipe specifically for breakfast I was sold!

11. Pierogi Casserole

The ultimate comfort food! Pierogies smothered in cheese and baked with kielbasa sausage. Go ahead and just put the whole casserole dish on your lap with a giant fork.

12. Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread

Sometimes you wake up and just need something to tide you over so that you can try and make yourself a proper meal. My go-to is always garlic cheese bread!

13. Hungover Noodles

As described, these noodles are a perfect meal when you’re feeling a little “down in the dumps.” It’s also vegetarian and dairy-free.

14. Turkish Lentil Soup

Sometimes, you’re too hungover to even chew your food! That’s when soup steps into the picture. It’s amazing to help you feel warm, comfy, and to help you heal!

15. BBQ Chicken and Pineapple Grilled Cheese

Okay… What?! This is everything I want in a grilled cheese! This sandwich almost makes me want to be hangover just so I could enjoy it’s saucy and gooey taste.
